Hi, I’m Hannah,
An artist based in Yorkshire, working primarily in oils. My work is deeply inspired by light, atmosphere, and the unique character of the landscapes around me — from the rolling hills of my home county to the wild, beautiful fells of the Lake District and Northern England.
Much of my art grows from observing the local landscape: its changing weather, soft misty edges, and those quiet, fleeting moments when the light transforms everything. In the studio, I am drawn to simple, balanced compositions and harmonious colour palettes. I love how oil paint allows me to build rich texture, depth, and that soft, glowing quality that captures the exact mood of a place.

Join me for a day full of fun, creativity, and painting! Our friendly workshops run for approximately 4 hours — though they have been known to run over a little! — with a break in the middle for lunch.
All equipment and high‑quality materials are fully provided, so you don’t need to bring anything.
By the end of the session, you will leave with your own beautiful, completed painting on canvas board. I guide the whole group step‑by‑step, and help everyone individually, so don’t worry if you are brand new to painting in oils — everyone is welcome!
